I put together the drawers in white and added red counter tops for a 10ft work station. We also did a hacked version of an ezview desk, got the legs at Ikea. I added to Ikea Lack Shelves. I love the red and white.

I cut white cardstock to 5 x 7", layer with a blue and white stripe pattern paper. Cut the Label @ 3" and all layers @ 3". I embossed the oval with the flowers on it and added Viva Pearl Pens. I did want the center of the flower to be more flat, so I took my finger and flatten the pearl before it dried completely. I also dotted the I's with Viva Pearl Pen.
On my way home today I stopped in at Michael's Craft Store, but they do not have any. I did not have time to stop at hobby lobby. I am not sure what I want to do with it. I cut several out tonight. Here is the photo. I adjusted it to where the top opening is 5" and the bottom is 16 1/2". I do have some room to play either way. I might just check Goodwill and see if I can find an old one that needs repair and use that frame. I would rather just order one and have it sent to my front door, lol. I do not have lots of free time to go shopping. I do most of my shopping online these days. I need to find me a frame and figure out what I want to do with it. Any suggestions?

Maybe this would be a great giveaway too. I could give one away on my blog and you could decorate it for your home. I might just get some inspiration this way. One reason I have not made any in such a long time, is we have a second home up for sale and once it sales, I want to pay someone to come in and paint this house. I want color. When we purchased this house 2 years ago, it was painted all tan and white trim. It looks good, but I want color. So this is why I am having such time at deciding what I want to do with this shade.. Maybe I should put it up until we get to paint the house. It might not match if I make it now. I want to make something besides cards. Do you ever feel this way. Maybe the new cake cartridges will have some nice borders I can use.

Who would like to have one? They are pretty easy to glue to those wire frames. You could do what I may bave too, and use an old lamp shade from a yard sale, goodwill, etc...If these rug rats did not keep me so busy, I might would have time to go find one, lol. A few years ago, I added butterflies and ribbon with dangling beads for Caitlin's room. It is real girlyTurnedgypsyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07568978777836251557noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4296415964796381114.post-43022997545847116122012-07-05T23:12:00.000-04:002019-09-08T11:35:23.447-04:00Purse and Card

I made an S-Shape card. I cut out small balloons and added twine for the string for the left front fold. I cut out a balloon 1 3/4 inches stamped IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY inside the balloon on inside and use a 3 birds rub on in the right corner. I then cut out a narrow strip of red cardstock 1/4 inch wide and 5 1/2 long attached it to the right side.Turnedgypsyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07568978777836251557noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4296415964796381114.post-28745986143721339922012-06-30T17:30:00.000-04:002019-09-08T11:35:22.659-04:00My home made Photo Albums for Gifts

The card was also cut with this card at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. The scallop was cut from Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge. I put the real dial size button on and it cut the cake to fit this card. I did add the candle (which was not included in this cart) and added gold glitter to the flame. The card is from page 45 of the Just Because Cartridge.

I trim out the scallop with some homemade paper cut at 1/4" x 5 1/2. The scallop has holds in it and I threaded the raffia through the holds and tied off with a bow.
This tri fold card was made using the Sizzix window stamp die, to cut the windows out in the card. I just ran the card through Sizzix Big Shot Machine. I used Viva Decor Pearl Pens in Cream, All Provocraft papers, Memory Makers Tag Maker Tool, Memory Maker Tag Rims (square rims) in three different sizes. I also used 3 Birds Rub Ons, Cricut to cut out the oval scallop, Stamping up small oval punch and American Craft Clear Stamps for the Sentiment inside. I wondered what company I did not use to make this card, lol.

To make your own half pearls with Viva Decor Pearl Pens, you can either just squeeze a drop on your project, but that is risky. I used sticker paper and plastic and squeeze as many drops of any of there 12 colors and let them dry. I then use mini glue dots to attach to my projects.

I used so many different companies' products on this card. They all work so great together. I love each and every one of these companies.Turnedgypsyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07568978777836251557noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4296415964796381114.post-29588403687030421092012-03-01T01:23:00.000-05:002019-09-08T11:35:22.706-04:00Ok are you tired of these yet, I am, lol.

Too many friends wanting me to make them one to giveaway to someone. I think this is going to be my last one for a while of these. I have not sleep but 6 hours since Sunday. My RSD is really bad right now. Good Luck. I saw on my facebook that Jinger Adams said she visited my blog, but I do not see her comment anywhere. She wants me to mail the scrapbook and box purse that match to her, but she did not say where to mail it too.Turnedgypsyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07568978777836251557noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4296415964796381114.post-35249184549234767022012-02-28T23:21:00.000-05:002019-09-08T11:35:23.068-04:00Celebrate cardI used Big Shot and Sizzix Flower and left die. I used Mini Monogram cart for this one. The rectangle on this card was orginally a square on the Mini Monogram cartridge, but I stretched it to make a rectangle. You can do this with Design Studio. I used Walk in My Garden cart for the flower then added Crystal Glass Effect Gel in center. Ribbon from Michael's Craft Store. The card is another tri-fold cut @ 10 1/2 length x 5 1/4 wide. I measure from the left side over 3 1/2 toward center. From the right side I measured in toward the center at 2 1/2.Turnedgypsyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07568978777836251557noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4296415964796381114.post-39297461207354352152012-02-28T20:24:00.000-05:002019-09-08T11:35:23.308-04:00Doing some home decor in preparing for my house to be painted in next month or so.

I took a grape vine wreath you can buy almost any where. I purchased wooden hearts, stained with color stain/sanded it down on edges. I attached the hearts to the wreath with wire. I only added the color stain to the front of the hearts. the rest of the heart was a natural. The hearts look better if you do not stain the edge completely. I did not even sew the bow. Just cut the fabric and tie into a bow. I made a second bow out of raffia. This will hang in my hallway. I was a regular crafter before I started paper crafting this year.Turnedgypsyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07568978777836251557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4296415964796381114.post-12087445998243518282012-02-28T20:02:00.000-05:002019-09-08T11:35:21.971-04:00B-day Card for a Child CRICUT CARD
