Hey Chris, I can't believe how wonderful your project is :0) I am more amazed with your tradition because this spring I was going to plant a dog wood tree for my father for the same reason :0)

I love your project and your sweet tradition, Chris! I am so sorry to hear that you have lost so many family members. My grandparents are also gone, and my oldest brother died at 41. His wife is now battling leukemia.
I think your idea of plants is so wonderful!
I'm off to do more hopping!!

Well, I did what you asked; I looked at all twelve hundred and some pendant lights. Here are my ideas. Even with the lamps you show because everything cannot be matchy, matchy.
First choice is UTTERMOST 21908
Looks like it gives a lot of light with the barrell its contemporary but fancy with the hanging center.
Second choice is George Kovacs P8028-084" square with a lot of lights very contemporary will match anything.
Third Choice is PLC Lighting 81262 Clear. With all of these you will be able to change your studio if you choose.

What I've been wanting at the craft store is the Wrought Iron Cross #3366. Love it! Bunches. This was fun.
Great Fun Chris!

I am looking for lighting for my new craft room too. My walls are pink and black with white and black furniture! I think pendant lighting for both of us in black would be awesome. There were beautiful products in the CSN store, but way too many for me to pick from so that is my suggestion! Hope it's good enough for an entry. ;) For Crop Stop, once again, OMGosh!!! Too much to choose from quickly. If I win, I will probably shop the clearance section that way I can get more for my $. LOL Thanks so much for the awesome prizes!

Pretty much all the perennials in our yard came from other people sharing their plants, but the peonies I dug from my grandma's yard. Her backyard always had huge bushes of them, and they always make me think of her--guess you can tell I like your story!

csn has so much stuff, I'm not sure what to say--I know I can always use shelving in my art room!

:)

And CropStop has pretty much EVERYTHING. I'm such a paper freak, though, I'd probably just ask for more!

I'm following you, by the way--and I found you from the lovely lady at Diamond Grove, if you'd like to count that as a referral for her!
